The Queens County Republican Party is committed to advancing Republican principles including the belief that a government is best when it is closest to the people that it serves; that government should be efficient, and provide full accountability for the policies it's leaders propose and implement, that the spirit of free enterprise is the best means to keep our economy running strong; that government must provide essential services but should function with limited taxation and financial efficiency so as not to overburden taxpayers and stifle economic growth and opportunity; that government’s paramount responsibility is the safety and security of our citizens; that the rights of law-abiding citizens should outweigh the rights of criminals; that our natural environment is a precious resource for all humankind; that government must implement policies that allow for both environmental protection and economic growth; that all persons are created equal; that discrimination in any form, against any person, and for any reason is unacceptable and must be vehemently opposed; and ultimately that the Republican Party is the best means of ensuring that representative government continues to work for and remains a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
